A collaborative, in depth approach to psychotherapy & couples counseling

for more than 20 years, i have helped individuals and couples navigate life’s transitions, deepen their relationships, and create meaningful change.

finding solid ground amidst uncertainty

Difficult feelings can be a gateway to growth. My approach is warm, grounded, and direct, helping you respond to life’s challenges with renewed clarity and a stronger sense of self. I work with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, moving from feeling stuck or burdened toward steadier ground and a greater sense of ease. Even small shifts can profoundly change how a life feels.

A holistic approach to change

In my San Francisco practice, I offer a holistic approach to psychotherapy that fosters meaningful change in character, emotional life, and behavior. My approach is tailored to the unique needs, goals, and life circumstances of each person I work with. Our work often involves slowing down and paying close attention to your inner experience. Together, we explore different aspects of your experience and examine how longstanding habits and personal history may be shaping your life in ways that no longer serve you. As these patterns become clearer, new possibilities for growth, choice, and connection begin to emerge. Together, we work to translate these insights into meaningful changes in how you relate to yourself, navigate relationships, and respond to life's challenges.

Therapy can be both exploratory and focused. Together, we will identify areas for growth and develop meaningful ways to recognize and measure progress along the way.

If you feel like we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a complimentary initial consultation in San Francisco by email or by phone at (415) 820-1554.
