Training and experience

I am a San Francisco–based licensed psychologist, analyst, clinical supervisor, and published author with more than two decades of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups.

My clinical research and writing focus on cultural trauma and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and resilience. I previously served as adjunct clinical faculty at the Wright Institute, where I trained doctoral students in clinical psychology and supervised developing therapists. I continue to provide clinical supervision and consultation to mental health professionals throughout the Bay Area.

In addition to my clinical practice, I lecture and present nationally on topics including mental health, trauma, individuation, and resilience.

My professional training includes work in community mental health settings, nonprofit wellness organizations, and private practice, as well as advanced study at leading psychological institutes in the United States and Europe.
